Restaurant Table Layout: Choosing the Size of Your Tables

January 4th, 2008 · No Comments

Let’s say that you’ve decided to use round, solid oak tables in your restaurant. That doesn’t mean that you’ll be limited in terms of how you lay those tables out.

For example, when you start looking at restaurant table layout, you aren’t going to be forced to choose tables that are all the same size even if you’re working with round tables. Think about it: do you really want all of the tables in your restaurant to be the same size? Does a party of two need to be seated at a table that can accommodate parties of 6 or 8? Of course not.

That’s why round, solid oak tabletops are available in a wide variety of sizes. From 24″ diameter tables to those with a 48″ diameter as well as sizes in between, it’s easy to create variety in the “landscape” of your dining room - it’s all a matter of having the right vision and the right products to make it happen.

Keep in mind that larger table tops may call for a larger or heavier base, but still it’s possible to create a cohesive look that allows you to seat a wider variety of parties, and to keep the experience comfortable for everyone - staff and customers alike.
