Does Your Restaurant Table Layout Take Advantage of the View?

March 2nd, 2008 · No Comments

Some restaurant locations are ideal. If you’ve chosen a location for your restaurant that has a view of the mountains, of the water or a great city scape - especially if you have fantastic windows - it’s essential that they way that you layout your restaurant tables take advantage of the views.

In other words, it’s a good idea not to block the windows with your cashier station; it’s a good idea to pay attention to the way that you’re setting up chairs, tables and booths so that you’re able to look at the ways in which you’re able to arrange your furniture so that as many diners as possible are able to enjoy the scenery.

Now, that’s not to say that your restaurant table layout shouldn’t focus on comfort or that you don’t want to be able to maximize the number of people who are going to be able to be served at any point in time - you do.

It’s just to say that when you have something great to work with - space with a great view and convenience - you want to be sure that you’re taking advantage of it. When you layout your restaurant tables, make sure that you preserve all that makes it great.
