When it comes to restaurant table design, there will always be options. Once you get past the basics - square or round, what type of material - there are other design questions that will need to be answered. For those of you who are thinking about choosing granite table tops, there are two questions really:
- Is granite the right choice for your needs, and
- What color should you be looking at?

If granite does prove to be the right options for you needs, choosing a color may not be as simple as you’d like it to be. Black with just a few colored specks is a classic options, but red and gold tones have a great deal to offer as well - particularly if you have dark woods and warm colors throughout your dining room.
Granite has a definite richness to it - something that you’re not likely to discover with most materials. It’s durable and long lasting and relatively easy to care for. But that doesn’t mean it’s right for every restaurant; talk with a restaurant Seating Expert to see if it’s right for you.
