These days a restaurant tables design incorporates two separate areas - the table top and the base or legs. This has become an economical advantage to those restaurants that use this type of furniture as changes can be made quickly and relatively cheaply.
If you use tablecloths on all your tables, patrons will see only the legs or the table base. If they start to look a little dated then it is simply a matter of replacing the base - you can keep the table tops.
Most of the time it is the reverse that is true. The table tops take a lot of wear and tear, becoming scratched and stained quite easily, especially if you don’t use tablecloths. Being able to replace table tops is a much more financially viable option to replacing the whole table.
The real benefit comes when you only need to replace one or two items. A table top becomes badly damaged on one table - a table base is looking worse for wear on another table. You can see where I am going - swap the table tops so you have one complete table that is still in good condition. The other table can be trashed, or perhaps placed into the darkest corner where it is hardly seen, or used. I am sure as a restaurant owner you could think of other uses.
Being able to give your restaurant tables a little face lift by only replacing the base or table top can save a lot of money and time. The tables can be upgraded one by one over a short period of time. This prevents any costly interruptions to your trading hours, or damage caused because everyone is rushing to get a job done before your normal opening time.
Your restaurant tables design need no longer look outdated. You can quickly replace table tops or table bases as and when you need to - so long as you buy the right restaurant tables to begin with.
