So you are a family friendly restaurant. What does that mean exactly? Does your restaurant furniture cater for families? Are you a family friendly restaurant because you have a children’s menu? Surely it is all the above.
I come across many restaurants where children are really discouraged. They have no restaurant furniture designed for children and certainly nothing for babies and toddlers. They are not family friendly. They fill a niche market and there are plenty of other restaurants to select from - is one of those yours?
Restaurant furniture that is designed for children, particularly toddlers, is a must in all family restaurants. Booths are great for school aged children whilst standard tables can accommodate teens. It is the older babies and toddlers that I often see left out.
Stackable highchairs are one option. Because they are stackable you can have several always on standby for families with young children. High chairs are far more comfortable compared to standard chairs for toddlers. Because of the safety harness that is generally built in, the child is safe from falling or having an accident.
Accommodating children can be hard in any restaurant. The key to success is having the right restaurant furniture that is designed for the young. Get that right and you will have happy families - families who will come back time after time.
