Using Restaurant Furniture Layout to Create Unexpected Space

April 1st, 2008 · No Comments

Sometimes, the best thing that you can do to create the atmosphere that your diners will remember is to use your restaurant furniture layout to create something that they simply don’t expect:

(source)Outside, it looked like a pretty typical coffee shop, with outdoor seating perfect for spring, and an interior greets visitors with an unpretentious and comfortable vibe.

Decorated in earth tones with an open yet personal layout, manager A. McNeal, refers to Lattétude not as a coffee shop but as a coffee lounge.

McNeal describes the decorating aesthetic as “comfortably modern with an international feel.”

In different areas of the shop, the decorations have various themes, such as an Asian stage area and an African hallway. All of this makes for an inviting area to study or just to hang out.

Now, you might not be planning a coffee shop, however, this remains a great example of what you can do when you choose a layout for your restaurant furniture.

By letting your guests take advantage of the view, by making the space inviting: it’s easy to create a space that’s outside of the ordinary - and that will keep people coming back for more.
