If your restaurant chairs design calls for a wood finish and you want the benefits of metal, compromise with a metal chair with a wooden finish. The metal restaurant chair in the picture is available with a mahogany or walnut frame and can be assembled with either a fabric or matching wooden seat.
Why would you want to go with a metal chair instead of the natural wood? There are many reasons with cost being one of them. Metal chairs are often a little less expensive than natural wood. Maintenance is the biggest benefit, however.
Metal chairs require less maintenance in the long term. They can be quickly wiped down and most mild chemical cleaners work well with no long-lasting effect. Wooden chairs can be stained by chemical cleaners. In fact, water alone can create a stain on wood.
There is a large range of stackable metal chairs with wood finishes. Metal chairs survive the stacking process well. Wooden chairs can be stacked, however, a lot more care is required since chair legs can be damaged with heavy knocks. Whilst wood will last a long time, continued use can cause stress fractures in the wood. Over time the chair or chair legs become weaker until one poor diner finds themselves on the floor after trying to seat themselves.
Restaurant chairs design that includes imitation wood finished metals can be far more practical in the long run than wooden equivalents. Just because they are made from metal doesn’t subtract from their appeal - if anything, it adds to it. Check out the range of metal restaurant chairs - you won’t be disappointed.
