Making Sure Reviewers Say Great Things About Your Restaurant Furniture Layout

April 22nd, 2009 · 1 Comment

When you are thinking about your restaurant furniture layout options, one of the most important things that you can do is to take a look at reviews of other restaurants. By seeing what restaurant reviewers have to say about the layouts of and furniture in restaurants around the country, you’ll be able to get a sense of what themes are working, how much space people like and what it takes to set the mood.

Let’s say that you’re looking for the chance to create a warm, inviting atmosphere but you’re not sure of what style of furniture will help you to do it. Here’s a review that will give you a better sense of what to do:

York Grill is steeped in elegance, charm, and warmth, providing its diners a comfortable and cozy setting.

The furniture is a mixture of traditional and contemporary with inviting, warm colors. Chic fabrics are used as covering for the unusually designed banquettes and chairs. Modigliani-inspired paintings adorn the walls and French-style windows open for the diners to enjoy outdoor dining. The effect is comfortable, and the setting is cozy and appealing.

By reading reviews of what others have done, you’ll have the opportunity to understand what reviewers are looking for - something that’s important given that, well, a lot of your prospective customers make decisions about where they’ll eat based on what reviewers have to say. The more that you know, the more that you’ll be able to make choices that will help you to get the raves you’re looking for.

I couldn’t agree with your more on the lay out of a restaurant when it comes to the placement of furniture. Nothing is worst than seating at a table and the person behind you is constantly bumping into your chair.
