Part of what makes going out to a restaurant a great experience is the atmosphere that the owners and designers have created; because of this, it’s important to make sure that you are making an effort to focus on creating a restaurant furniture layout that’s going to give you everything that your customers are going to be looking for.
Here’s a great example of what can be done with your restaurant and the way that you can use your restaurant furniture and layout to get people coming back:
I feel in love with the decor, the fun concept, the great food, the exciting cocktail list (they carbonate their own drinks!) and the supremely accommodating Chef who made me an extra plate of food, when he thought his Restaurant Week menu might not be vegetarian friendly (and yes, the 2nd plate was on the house!).
This time around I was thrilled to see the decor hadn’t changed. The restaurant still feels sexy and chic with its black, chrome and wood furniture, and bar with back lighting that changes from red to orange to yellow to green to blue to purple and back again. Its slightly hypnotic if you watch for too long.
You may not choose to play with the lighting behind the bar. You might not be interested in creating a “sexy” or “chic” look with your restaurant furniture layout. You may not even be thinking about what you can do to make your restaurant vegetarian friendly. However, what you should be looking at in that review is the excitement felt by the reviewer - the excitement that the restaurant furniture layout hadn’t changed and that the spot was all that it was remembered to be.
By thinking about elements like this when you’re thinking about your restaurant furniture layout, you can be sure that you’re making choices that you can feel great about.

When creating a restaurant layout, it is very important to make sure you have proper spacing between each chair and bar stool. Crowding in too many chairs is a mistake that many restaurant owners make.
