A restaurant booths layout can be configured in several different ways. The size of your dining space is the important factor when determining the final layout. You have also got to take into consideration the patrons and how easy it is to access the booths, the wait staff (if you have any) and how they will serve the patrons, and younger members of family groups.
Just to add to the mix, if you don’t intend to have wait staff attend the booths, will you need extra space to assist diners carrying their own trays back to their booths? There are many different aspects to designing a layout apart from space. Traditionally, booths have followed a few basic layout designs.
The traditional layout has been to set the booths along a wall or window with booth’s alternating between back-to-back and facing each other. This gives you the basic booth shape. Other shapes include the club lounge or 3/4 circle layout, 1/2 circle, ‘L’ shape and banquet shapes to name a few.
You can also design your own booth layout although this may require custom made tables. Your imagination and the available space are the only obstacles. So whilst you can custom design your booths when it comes to size, shape and fabrics, you can also play around with your restaurant booths layout.
