Chair Design for the Restaurant Patio

May 24th, 2010 · No Comments

When designing restaurant patio chair layouts in years past restauranteurs would simply have the same old, standard resin patio chairs. On a lot of levels, this was because molded resin chairs were easy to stack, not affected by a sudden downpour and easy to clean. It was a focus on what was functional and not necessarily pleasing to the eye.

These days, restaurant chair design offers far more options - many of which look a lot like chairs that could be used indoors as well. Aluminum weave patio chairs that are weather resistant are a great option for those who don’t want to give up style for the sake of function. A nylon weave is easy to maintain, but it still looks rich.

Folding patio chairs in bright colors like blue and lime green can add color and flair - a sense of fun reminiscent of the islands - and are both affordable and easy to store and maintain. For those whose restaurants only have outdoor seating for part of the year, they are a great option - and they can be used indoors as well.
Restaurant chair design offers looks that are great for every establishment - and it’s a good idea to think about the look you’ll have outside as well as inside.
