When it comes to restaurant furniture, there are some trends that are going to be fairly standard:

• matching the furniture to the style of the restaurant
• using the furniture to help create a mood
• choosing restaurant furniture that will be comfortable for your customers

An increasing popular trend however - especially for hotel restaurants and restaurants with seasonal outdoor seating - is to choose furniture that can be used for more than one purpose.

For example, a restaurant in a hotel may look for furniture that can blend in seamlessly with the furniture in the lobby outside. Restaurants with some outdoor seating and a modern look may choose to find furniture that can be used both indoors and outdoors. Likewise, restaurants with a bar area may look at taller tables and barstools so that the seating can be functional in both places.

If you have multiple areas that you’ll need to consider, keep in mind that it may be to your advantage to choose furniture that will work across the board, not just in one area.
