July 24th, 2008 · No Comments

When you’re looking for new trends in restaurant furniture that will help you to create a unique look, one of the best things that you can do is to start thinking in terms of themes. When you are aware of a theme that you want to use in your restaurant (or hotel or bar), you will find that it becomes a lot easier to choose the right restaurant furniture:

(source)As long as we’re talking bars, Neel Kamal, owner of Sizzling Bombay (2108 Emmorton Road, 410-569-0148), the Indian restaurant in Abingdon, has opened a martini bar in the back of his restaurant called the Flames Lounge. (OK, there’s a fire theme going here.) It has leather furniture and low tables,

The above is just one example, but consider where you could go with this sort of a restaurant furniture trend. If you were to choose a theme of flames or fire, you could use rich colors - mahogany woods, burgandy shades, reds and golds. If you were looking at fire and flame, you could even add to the decor with candles or fireplaces or wood burning stoves.

In other words, sometimes when you start looking at new trends in restaurant furniture, you are going to find that the trend is merely a suggestion of theme - one that you will be able to use to create something bigger, something more unified that will work to help you reach your goals.
