New Trends in Restaurant Furniture: Catering to a Higher End Client

June 19th, 2008 · No Comments

When you’re getting into the restaurant business and are looking for more information about new trends in restaurant furniture, one of the things that you’ll discover is that there is a tendency lately for the interior design to cater towards a higher end client.

Now, that’s not to say that when you are choosing chairs and tables for your restaurant you need to be sure that you are looking at the most expensive styles that you can find - even when you’re looking at new trends in restaurant furniture and considering the fact that many restaurants are catering to a different client. The reality is that, well, restaurant furniture doesn’t have to be expensive to look expensive or to make a great impression.

For example, if you’ve been in a recently remodeled McDonalds restaurant, chances are good that you’ve noticed that even the fast food chain is embracing this restaurant furniture trend. Rather than traditional booths and colors, they are choosing upholstery, more natural colors and, in some cases, even adding fireplaces to their dining rooms.

This trend in restaurant furniture is about a number of different things - it’s about comfort, style, and it’s about attracting those who otherwise might not be coming in. It’s that last factor that makes this trend an important one to watch.
