Should Bar Furniture Set The Tone?

December 24th, 2009 · No Comments

hot pink bar stool to set the toneBar furniture - I wonder, when you walk into a bar, do you notice it or do you casually drop your tail into whichever seat is available? Most people don’t really notice a bar stool. So with that in mind, should you use furniture to set the tone, or should the furniture just blend in?

If you think about it, you sit in a bar stool, have a quiet (or not so quiet) drink or two, and leave. The bar furniture almost goes unnoticed. If you do notice the furniture, it is normally when entering or leaving. This is one reason why bar furniture tends to lack a lot of color. It designed to add to, or blend into, your existing decor.

Of course there are always exceptions and this hot pink bar stool would, I am sure, stand out in any bar - unless someone was sitting on it of course. Don’t like the hot pink? Don’t worry - There is a complete range of fabrics and colors to select from. Yes, most bar furniture is fairly staid looking with most available in a range of timber stains - very formal.

Bar furniture no longer has to blend in. There are many pieces of furniture available now that can add real color and real life to your bar. If you’re bored with your staid old bar furniture then check out the range at the SeatingExpert.com.
