Bar furniture, in particular bar stools, come in a range of sizes, colors, materials and often with additional features. These additional features can make a huge difference in the comfort levels of your patrons yet are often quite inexpensive additions. Some of these special features include:
Adjustable Seats
Some bar stools can have their heights adjusted by simply rotating the seat a couple times. This winds the chair up or down and allow patrons to sit at a height they are more comfortable with.
Foot Rests
Foot rests come in a variety of options. Sometimes they are simply a cross bar that has been added at a suitable height. Others are specifically made and can include brass, silver, aluminum or timber/metal of the same type used to make the stool itself.
Arm Rests
Arm rests are generally simply extensions of the back rest, often designed in a classic style. Most bar stools come either with or without arm rests - there are very few that actually provide them as options.
Swivel Functions
For bars that can become a little crowded, swivel bar stools can be ideal. Patrons are able to swivel around to get on or off without affecting too many others around them.
When buying bar furniture, keep in mind the comfort of your patrons, how busy your bar area is and how practical each of the chairs are. Select bar stools that satisfy those three areas and you will have happy bar furniture and even happier patrons.
